QuestWake Terms & Conditions

Welcome to QuestWake. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the QuestWake iOS application ("QuestWake", "the App", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using QuestWake, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

1. Use of the App

QuestWake is a mission-based alarm application designed to help users wake up by completing challenges before dismissing an alarm.

You agree to use QuestWake only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for using the App safely and responsibly.

2. No Guarantee of Alarm Performance

QuestWake is intended to improve your chances of waking up on time, but no alarm application can guarantee that an alarm will always sound or that a device will always wake a user.

Alarm performance depends on many factors outside our control, including device settings, battery level, operating system behavior, permissions, hardware issues, software updates, and user configuration.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you wake up on time for work, school, travel, appointments, or other important events.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuestWake is not responsible for missed alarms, missed appointments, missed flights, employment consequences, financial losses, or any damages arising from the failure of an alarm or notification.

3. Device Requirements

QuestWake relies on iOS system features including local notifications, background execution, Live Activities, and system permissions.

Certain features may not function correctly if:

• Required permissions are denied.
• Your device is turned off.
• Your battery is fully depleted.
• Low Power Mode or Focus Mode restricts notifications.
• Unsupported or modified versions of iOS are used.
• Apple system limitations prevent alarms or notifications.

4. Camera and Missions

Some missions require access to your device's camera or motion sensors.

If you decline these permissions, the associated missions will simply be unavailable.

Images captured during camera missions are processed on your device as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions and Free Trial

QuestWake may offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features.

Subscriptions, billing, pricing, renewals, free trials, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple through your Apple ID.

Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends, subscriptions automatically renew according to Apple's subscription policies.

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID subscription settings.

If offered, a free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless it is cancelled before the trial expires.

6. Payments

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

QuestWake does not collect, process, or store your payment information.

Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.

7. Intellectual Property

QuestWake, including its software, graphics, interface, text, icons, sounds, logos, and other content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App except where permitted by applicable law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use QuestWake for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the App or its services.
• Reverse engineer or modify the App except where permitted by law.
• Attempt to bypass subscriptions or licensing mechanisms.
• Use automated tools to abuse or overload our services.

9. Availability

We may update, improve, suspend, remove, or discontinue features of QuestWake at any time without prior notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuestWake is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".

We make no warranties regarding:

• Continuous availability.
• Error-free operation.
• Compatibility with every iOS device.
• Fitness for a particular purpose.
• That alarms or notifications will always function under every circumstance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuestWake and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to QuestWake shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscriptions during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, portions of this section may not apply.

12. Privacy

Your use of QuestWake is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of QuestWake after any updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
